    64 drum backing plate question

    Gents,

    I've got the backing plates all cleaned up and ready for paint, according to one of Joe's previous posts the backing plates were finished gloss back.

    Did this inlcude the interiour surface? Particularlily the shoe contact surfaces? or were they masked off prior to painting or ground clean after painting?
