C2, Underhood Color Scheme

Could somebody advise the correct color scheme of inside of the hood on a 1967 conv.The outside is Sunfire Yellow.
Is the entire underside Flat black or is any portion painted the same as the outside of car

The underside of the horizontal outer edge of the hood (about 1" wide) is body color, and the rest of the underside is blacked-out; the color separation occurs where that horizontal surface meets the vertical surface of the hood inner panel.

Mark. I just ran through this exercise on my car too. The JG helps some. You should read it. The body color continues just past where the hood line takes a slight indent close to the hinges. The body color line does not follow the indent. It just continues in a straight line. At just above the hinges, the body color just ends with no masking line. It's like a free hand line from the paint gun. The remainder of the hood is semi gloss black out paint. The body color paint DOES NOT go all around the circumference of the hood. It's 'U' shaped from about the top of one hinge, runs along the back of the hood to near the top of the opposing hinge.

I'd send you a photo of mine, except mine is an original black car so you'd never see the line.
