Jerry, great article in the new restorer! I do have a question for you on the article it is my understanding that the satin finish on the "Buckle top" is only on mid to late '67's do you know if this is true? I am guessing from the labels that are cars must be close off the line mine is 22,7XX.

Haven't seen the article yet but I guess I know what it says. The satin finish buckle (RCF 65) was late 66 and through 67 on the Corvettes, but was used on other GM models as deluxe seat belts. I think everthing changed in 68, not sure what the cutoff number was in 66.

My 67 is 22049. Yours is near the end of the 67's. If your's is a small block does it have a 3810 carb on it? If so, what date code?
