    C1 (1960) Aftermarket Wheel Offset

    Hi All,

I know that this a restoration forum but, I'd like to get a second set of wheels & tires for cruising the drive-in. Im looking for something like the old American Racing Torq-Thrust spoked mags. Since I don't want to damage 10 grand worth of paint and body work on my '60, I'm looking for suggestions for wheel width, offset, backset, and tire size from someone who has "been there, done that". Any input would be helpful.

    Thanks,

    Dave T.

    Dave...

For drivers, best to install P205/75R15 Radials...Widest tires usable without modification = 215/75R15. 225/70 & 225/75's may be used with wider wheels.
