    67 master cylinder

Somewhere along the way power brakes were added to my non power brake car - this in addition to having an incorrect master cylinder. Mission is to remore all this and repace with correct master cylinder. I see some reproductions available in driveline but prefer to restore an original 5455509. My question is this....how can a rookie tell the difference between reproduction and "correct original real"?

    Richard,

You have to have an original side by side with the one from CSSB (Corvette Stainless Steel Brakes) to tell the differences. The differences are so slight.

Had the CSSB one on for a recent Regional, and the car next to me with a true original. I think I and they walked back and forth between the two cars 5 times trying to see a difference.

It finally just got checked off, but maybe not next time.
