I am not usually impressed by custom Vettes, and it's probably blasphemous for me to discuss them here, but this one I saw at Goodguys was a knockout. The picture doesn't do it justice. It is a gorgeous car. Very impressive work.

It was at the Goodguys NW Nationals in Puyallup, WA (south of Seattle). This was about the only area in the whole show where the cars weren't right next to each other. The rest was jammed packed. Must have been over 3000 cars there. What a great show.
There was another custom Vette (a '58)that was done for the Seattle Worlds Fair in 1962. That was a nice car too, but I didn't get a picture of it.
They invited me into the muscle car section. I felt a little out of place, but what the heck. Someone had to represent the solid axles.
