    Custom Vettes

I am not usually impressed by custom Vettes, and it's probably blasphemous for me to discuss them here, but this one I saw at Goodguys was a knockout. The picture doesn't do it justice. It is a gorgeous car. Very impressive work.

    Looks good from here too.
Has that 70's flair without being gaudy. I like it and I'm a stock guy too.

No more blasphemous than your average resto-rod, Dave.

        Don,

Please don't don't use that kind of language in here!

"Where did you see this custom? Looks like GTS in Ca.???"

It was at the Goodguys NW Nationals in Puyallup, WA (south of Seattle). This was about the only area in the whole show where the cars weren't right next to each other. The rest was jammed packed. Must have been over 3000 cars there. What a great show.

There was another custom Vette (a '58)that was done for the Seattle Worlds Fair in 1962. That was a nice car too, but I didn't get a picture of it.

They invited me into the muscle car section. I felt a little out of place, but what the heck. Someone had to represent the solid axles.

Many C1's are going that way here in Ca.
