Can anyone tell me approximately where the inspection sticker (green number on a clear background) goes on the radiator? I am told top left. If this is correct, would this be the driver or passenger side. Thanks

Re: Radiator Inspection Sticker-66 Vette
Seth,
To tell the truth, I've seen them anywhere from the middle of the radiator to the end. Usually at an angle since it wasn't completely an exact science of sticking on the sticker by the worker. Several books have photos if you happen to have any to reference. If one of our resident NCRS judges has more input then we should follow that. TBarr #24014- Top

Re: Radiator Inspection Sticker - book example
Seth,
I found one photo example in the Vette Vues Fact Book 1963-67 by M.F. Dobbins, page 309. The sticker is on a 67 small block aluminum radiator. It is very near, and to the right, of the hose inlet on the top left of the radiator. The sticker is placed at a 45 degree angle, about in the center of the radiator width, in the "space" between the inlet and the stamped part number 3155316 and the 67D date stamp. TBarr #24014- Top

Re: Radiator Inspection Sticker-66 Vette
I have a late (May 66) original corvette. There is no inspection sticker on the radiator. Instead it is located on the firewall side of the overflow tank. I have owned the car for over 20 years and bought it from the original owner. There is no evidence that a sticker was ever installed on the radiator.- Top
