    Spark plug wire question

My 66 SB 300HP, has a set of AC-Delco-Packard TV-R-suppression-7mm 3Q92 spark plug wires. Does anyone have any opinions on the quality of these wires?
    Thanks, Bill

They were made in the 3rd quarter of 1992.

You can ohm them out and look for obvious signs of heat damage and related.

They sound like original replacements. Terry

They have nuch better technology and manufacturing processes than that used when your car was new. Typically they will run 100,000 miles on a modern car. The lifespan on a seldom driven older car should be nearly indefinate, assuming the OEM wire routings were used and the wires have not been physically damaged in some way.
