    Brian-----

It depends how bad the ones you have are. These pieces are manufactured of zinc diecast material. Most platers don't want to work with this material. However, there are some that will and do a nice job. It will not be inexpensive, though. If very much "repair" is necessary (i.e. to remove pitting or other corrosion damage), the cost will be even higher. It will likley cost more to have the work done than it would for reproductions. However, I don't think that the difference will be huge unless what you have are really bad. So, if you can find a plater that will do it right, your best bet might be to have the originals re-plated. I don't have a recommendation on plater, but others have posted in the past regarding some that do good work with zinc-diecast.

i used Christensen Plating Works in Vernon, Calif 323-585-8730 for tail lights, front park lights, console and grill....i drove ther parts to him (from Oregon) last Oct and picked up in March. Fed ex probably works instead of special delivery for small parts. He is quite good at this work..not a production shop. When parts dropped off he estimated my spot in line would be March and he did as he said. Steve is the owner, talk to Steve. They were not cheap but they are right.

        Brian -

If yours are pitted, repairing the pits in pot-metal and plating them will cost far more than new ones; the Trim Parts reproductions are outstanding, the Taiwan repros are not.
