Okay, I would like to find out which cars had screws holding the center glove box in place on 68 corvette. What I have found is that there are three screw holes on each side of the plastic frame that had screws in them to attach the glove box. At some time, the screws were left out and a clip was installed on the underside of the plastic frame to hold the glove box in place. If people could tell me what they have in that location, it would be great. Thanks, Terry

Re: 68 corvette people question.....
I have a late 68. Are you describing the center console area between the seats, rear storage bin area or the map pouch in front of the passenger attached to the dash? Mine doesn't have the later, I believe that started in 69. Reason I responded was not only to help but I'm into the interior as we speek.- Top

Re: 68 corvette people question.....
Dave, thanks for responding. You see, the assembly manual shows 3 screws on each side of the rear center glove box compartment. It also has 3 screws shown on the front of the compartment. The screws hold the cardboard glove box to the plastic door frame assembly. I am trying to see if all 68 corvettes used these screws to hold the glove box to the compartment frame. Later C3's used a single clip on each side of the frame that held the glove box in place. This transition may have occured in 69 but I am not sure. What does your car have?? Terry- Top
