Joe....my shoes appear identical to yours, except for the #'s. on the back side of the fronts (2 3/4") are die stamped Delco Moraine Prod Div Dayton, O USA and 5461962. the rears (2") are stamped Delco Moraine, Made in USA.and 5461965. my front primary shoes have 3 pads and the secondary have 6 pads. the rear primary has 3 pads and the secondary has 5 pads. all pads are riveted and all are double pads. I hope this helps.....Frank

Frank..thanks for taking a second look! It sounds like these are the same as yours if not for the #'s. Maybe a different batch # and or application. If I should I find out the sequence of #'s or specific application..I will post them.

Joe, I'm sure all my contacts at Delco are retired by now.

The other request you had is for data for the SR's. I have lots of Engineering ECR's and Work Orders, but I'm not sure it would be germane to the production and or service parts you are looking for and just might muddy the waters. Now if I could only get back into the Engineering Release Notice files.................hummmmmmmmmm

I am interested in the SR1 info because I talked to the original owner of an SR1. His name escapes me right now..but it is the car that Sebring Bill once owned.

I talked to the son in Chicago and then the father who is living at age 92 in Florida and up till recently still drove a Porshe race prepared street car.

He told me he had a 54 being serviced at Dick Doane..when Dick said to him..come over here I want to show you something.

Doane had just received 4 brand new 1956 SR1's. This is important as you know because there may have been as few as 6 made.

He traded in the 54 and bought one of the SR1's.

I thnik there are so few Corvette people..even veteran Corvette people that know about these SR1's..it would be great to post some information about them.

I will try and find a picture of the car I just spoke of and post it!

Maybe Sebring Bill..wants to add a post!
