    C2 Brake Bleeding

I am in the process of bleeding my brakes. Since I have knock offs I want to make sure I do it right the first time. The only thing I am not sure of on the rear calipers where you have two bleeders, does it matter which one you start with first, inboard or outboard. I am starting with the rt rear then the lt rear rt front and lt front.

    Ken -

Many folks recommend bleeding the inboard side first, then the outboard side.

      Ken,
In addition to what John said. The '65 shop manual suggests that: "Tapping of the caliper with a rawhide mallet may assit in obtaining a good bleeding job."

Don't know whether this is good technical advice or a method of driving away evil spirits!

Good luck with your brake bleeding project.

      Regards,
      Gene
