C# Windshield Slight Scratches

I have the original windshield in a C3 72. Is it possible to polish out very minor scratches, similar like polishing plexiglass? If so what are the recommended products to use? Thanks in advance for your help!!!!

This has been talked about recently look into the archives. If you can catch the scratch with your finger nail repairs don't work well. Eastwood sells a kit.

I recommend you call a professional glass shop that has a glass scratch removal system/tool, many of them do....If the scratch is deeper than a nail, when polished out it will have an optical distortion, but still could save an original part....if it is in the immediate vision area, I would not recommend polishing...you will get a headache when driving from the optical distortion.Small scratches are easily removed.

These systems take jewelers rouge and a wool wheel and polish the glass, the kits from eastwood are really part time kits...to do it right you need a more professional tool that your local glass shops most likely have. If it is a light scrtach the eastwood kit can do it.
