C2 Radio's

I know the radio's of some of the C2's model years have different numbers but how would I distinguish them during judging if no tags were on the radio's?

Rob, the radio in the picture is a bit hard to see. Can you post what letters/numbers you can see on the paper tag on the left side of the dial. The radio ID number can reveal much.

The 63 and I believe the 64 radio has a red/green area at the top and bottom of the slide bar. There is also a small CD in a circle on the station bar. This stands for Civil Defense. An old symbol used during war time and the cold war.

Also the metal frame next to the station selection knob is different for 63 and 64 from 65 to 67.

There are several difference on the inside, but I don't know what they are.

Harry,

This answers my question already. I'm not bidding on the published radio picture, it was just an example. In the future I might need to buy another '63 radio for my split since it currently has an AM only radio which is considered non original (due to the 898E interior trim code). so I'm trying to do my research first instead of buying the first one I encounter (a mistake I made once or twice during my 1959 restoration).
