    G.M. CREDIT CARD..

I was told a couple years ago when I signed up for the G.M. card that all earned point's would be applied to the purchase of a new vehicle of my choice.I am trying to buy a new Colorado or a Canyon and they will only give me $1000.00 in credit from my card. I have $1600.00 in point's. I was looking at an HHR for my wife a few week's ago and it was only$750.00.This really pi---- me off. If I use up most of these point's I will not use the card anymore.
Just be aware the rules have changed. Tom Stanton #41491

The rules have not changed. Each vehicle has a different limit for the amount of point used. This limit can change monthly. If you were to look at a full size truck you could probably use as many as 2000 - 2500 points as well as the rebates.

My point is when I opened the account I was told the total point's would go toward any purchase. And in the begining I did get total point credit. My son work's in sales for a Chevy dealer and he said it changed about a year ago.I know one thing for sure I will not build up a lot of point's on this card again. Tom

same thing happened to me on my 2005 C-6

i had $3600 in credits but GM would only allow me $1000 on the new C-6 corvette. mrs clem showed them she bought a new impala and was able to use all the $3600 and the total discount she got was $8600 from sticker. got to love these women who think for themselves.
