    Amp gauge

    Hi all.

    The other day when I had a mechanic friend helping me with my steering on my 1962 corvette, he noticed as I did that the Amp gauge is bouncing around when you start the engine.He said the wires on the gauge are on backwards. I showed him on the wiring diagram that the way I have them is the way the diagram shows. But he says the diagram is wrong. Is he correct? If I reverse the wires,can I do any damage to the gauge? I'm still working out a few bugs.

      If the diagram youre using is the original then its backwards. The diagram that Don Olson makes is correct.

          It's the diagram that came with the Lectric Limited wire harness.

              Look in the AIM, the owners manual, or the ST-12. All are wrong.
