Hi Michael. I know that car. It used to belong to George Gallant in Bel Air, MD. George sold the car. Don't know who has it now.

I gave George a copy of the CN mag with his car on the front.

George owns a Corvette Shop in Bel Air, and has been involved with Corvettes for 35 years. He's big in NCCC functions at the National level. Chuck

The car, affectionately known as "BigBlack" is in my garage. I drove it to many Corvette events in the Northeast over the last 5 years.

It is scary fast, very loud and the best Corvette expierience to date. I can tell countless stories about my life with the car.

Howard Fetterolf was the original owner, who raced it until he traded it with George for a new black '93. I bought it at Carlisle around '01. Next time you see Al Grenning or Bill Calorico ask them the story of how I bought it in the dark with their pooled resources. I've been enjoying it ever since.

I just got an email from Howie. He will be driving his new C6 to Carlisle in a few weeks. Guess what color it is? Just don't ask me about potential seller's remorse...

I am out of town for a few weeks and don't have all my files with me. Here is the photo of how it currently looks, used as the screensaver on my laptop.

Glad to see the car is still in race trim. Looks great!

I spoke with Howard Fetterolf about that car in the 70's but I thought I remembered him saying he no longer owned the car at that time. Obviously, I remember it incorrectly. (got his name from the Corvette News article)

Beautiful car, great photo, obviously taken in front of DEI in Mooresville NC. I live about 20 miles from there I think I will take my 65 down and have a photo shoot.
