i'm looking at a 72 lt1 conv. to buy---from 2nd owner(cal car)all docs. from dealer to date---how many convs. were produced? thanks to any response

1972 is a weird production year for statistics. They even break out the number of exterior and interior colors by body style (but not both ext. AND int).

that would be nice,but i prefer the basic hot rod version---no ac no ps---only option slightly out of the ordinary is the am fm is stereo---i understand the ac optioned cars have a lower redline than those without---hot rodder at heart---give me the high redline with the top down---
