    The 69 door switches

Which switch is for the interior light and which is for the door adjar light? I'm thinking that the one at the bottom rear of the door jamb is for the adjar light but I'm not quite sure.

Does anyone know of a source for a correct switch that resides in the lower aft door jamb? If I remember right they should have a little "S" stamped in the end of the plunger and I don't think the repros have this.

Anyone know what years that this style of switch was used?

    Thanks,

    Greg

    Greg------

The switch on the FORWARD door jamb is the one for the courtesy lights. The switch on the lower REAR door jamb is for the door ajar warning light function.

The door ajar switch used for 1969, GM #3929804, was used for 1968-72 Corvettes for that application. It was also used for the "hood open" warning light for 70-74 Corvettes. This, particular, switch was never used for a courtesy light application.
