66 C2 tire pressure decal location,glove box adjus

66 427 Convertible...March 66 build date

I know the round tire pressure decal belongs in the glove compartment. I'm pretty sure it goes in one of the cup holder indentations. Is it left or right?

Also my glove compartment doesn't "pop" open. Do I move in the the adjustment plate to make it tighter so the rubber pushes it out?

The decal does not go in a cup hplder, it goes in the center between the depressions. Are the little bumpers installed in your glove box frame? They help the glove box pop open. That or hitting a bump.

The glove box has a torsional spring in the hinge area that causes it to "pop" open. Possibly it is broken or installed incorrectly....

--------Steve is on the right track. I would be willing to bet that the screw that holds the spring to the glove-box frame is simply missing. I have seen that so many times!!! When not there the hinge spring has nothing to work against. It may be a 10/24 round head phillips with a lose but captured washer??? It has to be installed with the door in the down position. Joe,

Check to see that the loop on the left end of the spring is against the FRONT side of the bottom of the door when open. If it is against the back side the door will not spring open (I know because I installed mine incorrectly)
