    C1 Exhaust Hanger Problems

I am in the process of trying to install the exhaust hanger at the X member on the passenger side. I am really having an extremely difficult time getting the hanger assembly between the frame and the exhaust pipe. It just seems to lack about a 1/4 " from getting in there. The drivers side wasn't easy but I did manage to get it accomplished. The exhaust system and hangers came from either Paragon or Corvette Central. Any suggestions? Should I modify the hanger in any way?

    Re: C1 Exhaust Hanger Problems

Many exhaust assy that people buy are better off having it installed at a muffler shop to get a good fit. Many need rebending for a good fit.

Is the metal part of the hanger assembly that the U-bolt goes through the same for both sides???
