Z06 Blood Suckers...??? Was waltzing through...

a Chev dealership yesterday and noted a new yellow ZO6 on the showroom floor. I was only in the tire kicker mode, but noticed the dealer had jacked the sticker up by about $16K. My question: Is this a current common practice? Just curious. TIA, Dennis

have heard of one being sold for 2k under MSPR but most i've heard of average 10K over MSRP. you'd look good in a new one but how ya gonna use the clutch with the bum leg? Yellow also fitting color. be sure an order white walls. mikie

GM is in on it now they raised the base price

to $70,000 before options. with people paying up to $10K over sticker GM said "we priced the ZO-6 to low"

They are already showing up on the used car market, Cars.com has two listed. A black one 76000 or best offer. Wait another 6months they will be more available. Have a nice evening eveybody. Curt.

$76K is over sticker for a used one i would

guess. the used one on the market are owners trying to cash in on the sellers market. some dealers are paying $5K over sticker to other dealers. if the 600HP one comes out that will take the pressure off of the Z0-6 and i am keeping my fingers crossed so i can get a ZO-6 at a discount.

Here in Charlotte, NC the dealer is tacking on $10 grand. I am hopeful the hype will burn off soon. Would like to have an 07.

We sold two Z06s last year ,both for sticker. any 07 Z06 we get will also be sold for sticker Im told . we got our first 07 (not a Z06) in yesterday .Bill

Just like the VW New Beetle in the past huh - glad we are in same league. I understand from the dealer here in the Netherlands that currently GM produces 60 Z06 cars per month - 30 for the US; 30 for the rest of the world......... (oeps).

They might not be very good on a lot of little things, but I think you guys get a better allocation than the dealers over here.

Here in Canada there quite a few sitting on the lots unsold for sticker price.

Right. I also just read where they are raising the price for a Z06 by about $3500 US for you.
