    C2 Amp Gauge

I had mentioned in an earlier post that the amp gauge needle in my '66, which had always pointed right in the middle, at idle and when driving, just started to move to the right. I have recently driven the car a few times and the needle shows a steady reading on the hash mark just right of the middle. Should I be concerned about this or just drive the car and forget about it?

Sounds like an intermittent connection at the multiple connector on the engine side of the fuse block; very common issue. A constant reading just slightly to the right of center is normal (with the battery fully charged).

factory regulators are temp. sensitive---has this change shown up from colder weater to hotter? just something to keep an eye on---you can clean the points in your reg and adjust per manual---i would only do this if you are sure you do have a regulator issue
