C2 FI Exhaust Manifold date code

The JM does not call for inspection of the date code for the FI exhaust manifolds, however things may change. Since mine are now off the care I would like to take a picture of the date code.

So where is it and how does one read it??

Have the numbers 901 over 942 on left side of manifold on front and rear while the right is 902 over 942 on front and rear. If these are the date code - how does one read them.

If these numbers are not related to a date then I have no date code on a March 1964 car.

those appear to be the last 3 digits for 3797902 rh and 3797942 lh--- some manifolds will not have a casting date

Original 2-1/2" exhaust manifolds for small blocks (62-65) which include the casting numbers mentioned, did not have casting dates on them. Some later SERVICE examples of these manifolds may have had casting dates. So, if you have one that has casting dates, it's likely not original.

The numbers I mentioned are all on the drive's side manifold along with the full part number.
