Light for '59 Wonderbar

I made the mistake of not replacing the light for the Wonderbar radio on my '59 when I restored it. Now I want to replace it. I can feel where the bulb goes into the top of the radio, by reaching under/around the dash. However, it doesn't want to just "pop" out. Does the light come out of a '59 Wonderbar, like they do in the 60's and 70's Delcos? Those lights pop in, just like a dash light. I don't want to break something, then I will SURELY have to take the whole radio out. Thanks in advance.
