67 Hoods

I just read on the web that there were 3 different hoods in 1967???? I knew the BB vs SB but what was the difference on the L-88?

Others can probably tell you more but the big difference was the back side of the hood was designed for fresh air intake for the single four barrel.

The L-88 hood had a unique inner panel bonded-in that housed the air cleaner element and formed a duct to the rear of the hood, which had holes cut in it to admit air from the base of the windshield; shown in Section L88, Sheets A4 and A5.
