    C3 headlight question

I am in the process of stripping and doing some body work my 75. I am trying to get the headlight bezels off the car but i can't figure out how to get them off. I have removed the screws holding them in and also have removed the seal beams, but the bezels will not come out. it seems as thought they are to low to get the bezel past. What do I need to do to get them out..Thanks

It just takes a touch of finesse... With the bezels off the bucket, try rotating them relative to the open bucket and extracting one end, then the other in a 'see-saw' maneuver. Once you play with positions alternative to a straight up and out pull, the light will go on 'upstairs' and it'll become obvious to you...

If the bezel is too low to come out I would adjust the door up with a small hex socket on the center bolt. If that will not allow the bezel to come off the eye is threaded on the vacumn canister too far and will need to be backed off.

It took awhile but I finally got them off..I was hoping that it was going to be easy..But so far nothing on this car has turned out to be easy..
