But if we can turn em on to these Vettes a memory may stay. My 19 yr old nephew was here couple years ago. Rice boy all the way. Took em out in the 67 L-79. Did this couple times. Towards the end of the week I handed him the keys. The look on his face was priceless. Man how many 19yrs olds get to take a Vette out themselves. Told em I see ya 2-3 hours. He did'nt come back early. Now the P.C. police will say I'm nuts. But I found I can judge a man by the look in his eyes. Nathan's got it, and a memory he still talks about. Besides I was that soldier at 19 with a 58 Dual Quad. Still playin' with Vettes.

Craig Jackson get 8% from seller and buy both ends to 16% of the sale. He also get the registration fee from the seller also.

Jay, I could not agree more! Although my 22 year old son is NOT a rice head, if any of you folks on this fine forum could have seen his face the first time I gave him the keys to our 64 Coupe - PRICELESS! He was a major motivator on this 64 as well as a 68 Camaro RS that we have. Both cars were fantastic bond builders for us.

Just to clarify a minor point, the hood tach was first offered on the 67 GTO.

Yes, you are right. However, that particular GTO didn't come with the
hood tach any more than it did the tri-power setup though.

I have not seen the article but if it is a 67, tri-power was not available in a 67 model GTO.
