date code radiator supply tank on 1966

I have discovered a pin hole in my radiator supply tank on my 1966 coupe. I believe it to be original (dated G65) as the car was built October 15, 1965. I'm ordering a new one and want to make sure about dating it correctly, how many months prior to October 15, 1965 is correct.

My '66 was built June 13, it's tank is dated May of '66. Bill

My '66 small block engine is stamped June 12, with an April dated supply tank.

Chris - 25305 built last week of May 66 has a 66D tank. Pete
