    68 tri power 435 carbs

Have a 68 427/435 #matching. Front and rear carbs are #3659 dates 833. Centre carb is #3660 date 734. The car is early production 68, T0911IR is it possible for the centre carb which is for a 67 435 to be used on this early production 68 or is this the incorrect carb. What is the correct carb number

    Tom,

Your center Holley should be a 4055 unit.

What's the car's VIN? The end carbs were made in late March of '68, seven months after '68 start of production.

I think that John pretty well answered your question. The dates of the end carbs preclude them from being original to your car.

Dick, what would be the correct dated codes for this set up. Should I be looking July August?

JG says six months prior. Probably withing 4-8 weeks of car production would be normal
