You have a set of 73 only aluminum wheel nuts. You may be able to sell them on E-bay for big bucks to the uninformed. They will fit only the 73 wheels and only 4 sets were installed at the factory.

These do attract a magnet so I don't believe them to be aluminum. They are cromed steel. They are also drilled and tapped all the way through with a black plastic insert in the top. The lug nut is 3/4 hex, .800 long to the shoulder which is .145 long with a diameter of 1.125 Below that a shoulder that is .600 diameter and .460 long. With an overall length of 1.38 Thats the best discription I can give other than the part number that is on the boxes which you say corresponds to and aluminum nut. Any futher ideals as to what they fit would be helpfull. however they are not for sale!

The nuts are not aluminum the wheels they were for were aluminum wheels. The size of the bottom is different than the late 70's aluminum wheels. The wheels on Zoar's 74 in the Corvette Museum use those nuts and I seen four of the 73 wheels one time a few years back. I have a set of them also but as a 73 collector I thought I might find some wheels some day but they would be no good for judging without some paperwork. With only four sets mounted from the factory and that may not have happened and a few sold by dealers before the recall their is not much of a market for the nuts if they were for sale.
