    Rochester hard start

    Jim,

This is on the 72 Pickup 400 small block not the car, that has the rochester as well rebuilt and it will stay. I have a 650 Holley here but want to keep this carb, not sure why I am stubborn but more I know it is not at it potential so want to get it there. Motor not at its potential either but will get there.

This carb is just a victim of me being a cabinetmaker and out of my area and not the right love along the way. It needs more care and will get there.'

And Clem yes this mechanic here has a stand built and a system and takes them off and leaves them just as you do to check for the leaking so thanks.

The board is great all this info sharing, I learn from it everyday.

I had the same problem with my 69 L-46 Corvette. I tried everything and never did figure it out. Very annoying I know that. I sold the car so it is someone else's problem now. Tom
