Where can I find a 58 Corvette Powerglide..

I see manual trannys listed all over the place, but haven't had any luck finding an automatic for a '58 vette. Any ideas?

If memory serves me right, the passenger car unit is identical with the exception of the tailhousing and there are probably lots of cast iron powerglides still under cars in junkyards. Call David Needham in Mass. who advertises in Hemmings he can probably tell you the differences and stocks a full line of parts for old powerglides. If you can't find his # then Email me And I will look it up when I get home. Another good source of powerglide parts and info would be Fatsco Transmission, don't know their # either but an Internet search will turn them up. John Mc Graw

I have one sitting in my Garage that was originally out of either a 57 or a 58 .If your interested .
