parts lot value??

a gentleman contacted me to purchase his leftover corvette mid-year parts, he is retiring and moving to a new house, he has.........

66 and older rear clip-convertible- from the storage compartments to the tail lights (white glass decent condition no cracks or repairs),

rear deck lid-no hardware-no damage,

convertible top frame -nice shape-no hardware clean and solid condition, no rust, nice bows and header, weatherstrip so-so

1 set of 1963 seats with sliders nice condition overall-need to be rebuilt and recovered, sliders and frames in good condition

worth $2800.00????????????

Reselling on EBay you would most likely not lose your money. Conv top frame $1-2K, Deck lid $150-300, Seats $400-600, rear clip I don't have a good feel for, but if original $1 - 2K maybe more. Good luck!

Do you need any of it or is it just for resale? I have made a few deals like that to get maybe one or 2 parts I need. Lots of time elapses and I still have all the rest of the stuff (ahem wife says "junk") that I did not need. When I look back it usually ended up costing me double for that one item. Save yourself the headache unless you need most of it or have a ready market for it. When was the last time you mailed a rear clip?
