'64 Firewall

I am in the process of rerouting the various wires/lines that pass through the firewall - most are currently in the wrong place. I have identified the hole for the speedometer cable and the large hole for the oil line and the wiring. Two have me stumped. Where is the hole for the tach line, up near the wiper motor (I can't find it)? Also, where does the temp sending unit wire pass through?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Temp sending wire is part of the wiring harness and transfers thru the connections under the steering column. I can't speak to the Tach cable.

It's easy to see why you couldn't see where the tach cable goes thru the dash as it is slightly hidden. Stand on the driver's side of the hood and find the wiper motor. Between the wiper motor and the brake booster you see where the firewall has an angled section, that's where the hole is. Feel for it as it will be hard to see it. It's angled towards the distributor so the cable doesn't have to bend. Clever, but hard to find. Good luck. David
