Goldlines

I just got some goldlines in for my '66 from Coker. They are the firestones bias ply. They seem to be to orange. I think I have had this problem with the COkers before. Where is the best place to get goldlines or are these Cokers OK?

I bought mine from Diamondback - they are gold and are Firestone SI radials -

I have the Coker radials they are too orange as well. Wish I had done more shopping.

Kelsey tire in Camdenton MO sells correct Goodyear gold stripe and red stripe tires in the original size and configuration. They also drive well. 800/325/0091

I too have seen reports of oranginsh "Goldlines" from Coker, but perhaps more problematic is the reported experiences with quality of the tire itself, out of round, ply seperation, etc.

I too had Diamondback put a goldline on tires of my choosing, not being a judged car I went with modern radial technology and got a great looking goldline to boot - couldn't be happier. Nice guys to talk to too.

I ordered "gold lines" from Coker about a year ago and they never got off MR. Brown's truck.................one look at the orange lines was enough for me....they weren't even close. I called them and said that I wouldn't accept them. They told me that that's the correct color........BS!
