Is the part number AC 4053 for a 67 L-79?

Last five digits are 40433 for 67 S/B

But it is not a big deduct with a service replacement or non AC logo fuel pump.

            Jerry,

I understand that Fuel Pump part number 40503 is in the catalogs for the 67 L-79. Could there be two numbers for the fuel pump.

            Thank you,

              Lawrence,

The 40503 is the service replacement fuel pump for a 67 S/B, that's what I have on my 67 S/B now, and it works just fine. As I understand from posts on this forum, the 40433 never got out of the production run and was soon replaced with the 40503 with the AC logo soon after the 67 run.

The picture above is my original 40433 restored and recrimped with a 40503 bottom can. I'm actually afraid to put it back on. But since my wife won't let me leave it on the coffee table, I guess I'll have to try it out for the next judging event.
