okay one last pic from the aim 69 L71 no ac

Here is the hose in question in the AIM anyone know where it connects on my car. The AIM says here, it connects to the W/S wiper vac harness but then I can find no picture of that in the AIM. Only this page and the other one I posted. There doesn't seem to be a pic in the AIM of the this hose in the engine compartment maybe I missed it but I looked for 1/2 an hour...that's what I need Help.

There are 2 more pics posted earlier this week

They show the actual hose coming out of the firewall.

I'll take a shot at this. After my hose comes through the firewall, it's connected via a straight connector with the 2 little clips in the pic. Then it goes to the tee as shown in your photo. Looks like the little nipple of your tee may have broken. You can get the tee from venders like Dr rebuild

so am I missing a hose?

Am I missing a hose that goes from what you are picturing over to a tee in my line that has been taped? The one with a yellow stripe? The end of the disconnected hose that I'm trying to connect has this exact clamp you pictured.
        THANKS for helping!

Just to add to the confussion. This is from my 70 AIM. Doesn't reflect how my hoses are run. My 70 has the relay mounted on the firewall as in your photo. Therefore all the relay hoses that run around the wiper to the relay for me, would need to run the other way for that wheelwell relay position. Thats why in the photo there's very few hoses running by the wiper motor area. In fact those are 2 metal tubes in the A15 photo which I have seen on some 71's. Much cleaner look, don't you think? However, I seem to remember 69,70 possibly having the wiper relay mounted at the passenger side location as well.

Notice the note in your M3 AIM photo telling to cut the yellow hose 4" from the end and insert the tee. The location in that M3 photo suggests the yellow hose on the right side. Maybe this explains your short hose. Possibly explains why my car has the hose end out of the firewall and the another hose connected to continue to either relay location?

Finally, the yellow hose is cut about 4" from the relay on my car and also in your firewall photo. Makes me believe the suggestion in your M# photo serves the same function on the other side

Re: so am I missing a hose?

            George,

I can't remember from your old photo if the hose ends just out of the firewall of is just a little short of making it to the relay. If its the later, then see if there's any hose hiding below the wiper pump. My hose has a lot of slack in it going over to the relay.

Either way, you can buy the hose to continue from the connector out of the firewall, and but a tee to put in the cut yellow hose from Dr Rebuid or others.

Just for the heck of it, see if theres a relay, or holes there might have been, on the rear of the passenger side inner fender.

So to be clear, you think the hose connects..

via a straight connection to another hose," like what you pictured,"that is missing on my car. Then the missing hose goes to a tee on the yellow hose in my photo right where it has been taped over. Correct?

Re: okay one last pic from the aim 69 L71 no ac

Hi George, got the same "problem" with my 69 convertible.

There is a "T" in the yellow striped hose that runs from the vacuum source to the wiper door relay. The straight way has a large diameter, while the hose that goes through the firewall has a small diameter.

On my Corvette the original "T" was exchanged by someone against a brass "T". So I was very confused if the location of the "T" was original.

The special "T" is not included to the hose set I received by an American vendor.

                    Hope it helps

                    Klaus

Feb 1969 wiper door relay in pass fender

My late Feb 1969 has the relay in the pass fender near the washer fluid bottle.
