Recently purchased a 3 owner '67 327/350 that is substantially in tact. The car was ordered without radio. One of the previous owners installed shielding (top only) presumably becasue it looks better (which it does). I can seem to find info on what should be there when you have a radio but not much on what you shouldn't have when you don't. Were the same brackets still there to hold the plug wires and coil? Were there different brackets or no brackets. Probably something for at least the coil I would asume. Just not sure what it should look like. Hard to find cars or even pictures. Thanks

See the illustration in UPC 6, sheet B3 in the Assembly Manual (which shows the "base" - no radio - condition). Uses the same plug wire/coil support brackets, but doesn't use the lower "V-shields" or any of the horizontal, vertical, or top shielding.- Top

Re: '67 - no radio questions
Thanks John
I have had this car such a short time don't have the AIM yet (it is in the mail I hope)but based on your description it would appear the removal of that one piece of shielding is all I need to do. I will just have to verify that the brackets are the correct ones.
Thanks again- Top
