I have an Ermine White/Red liner HT that i'm trying to determine the date
code. The lower left corner has the following : Plexiglas R&H Co Acrylic
Safety Glazing ANSI Z97.1-1966/72>.080u Does this mean it's a 1966 year?
It has a straight ( un-notched ) lower edge. Thanks in advance.
------Does this H-T have a padded headliner or a sort of hard pressed cardboard headliner with a pattern??? As well, are there formed areas for the sunvisors. Padded with no formed areas would be a 66 and with the sunvisor areas it would be a 67. The hard pressed cardboard would be earlier. Of course, if the headliner is missing or has been changed this method of dating is irrelevant, but I hope this helps.......Bill S
Bill- The headliner is a hard textured ( pattern ) type in near excelent condition; not sure of its age or originality though as my car was not mfg.
with a HT, but was bought later and included in the deal.
-------Sounds like a 64 or 65 to me if the headliner hasnt been changed out. I have forgotten how to read the date a long time ago so cant help you there. Somebody else is bound to jump in with that info tho.......Bill S
