    Midyr coil spring compresser tool who sells best?

          Autozone rents them for free. You simply purchase it and then return it for a full credit. I recently did a front suspension rebuild and bought a a spring compressor for the job. The compressor stripped and I went to Autozone and utilized their tool rental program (that's what I should have done in the first place).

              I have never used a compressor. A floor jack works fine. Place the floor jack perpendicular to the car so it can roll in hte arch of the spring when the spring is being released. The car needs to be on fairly high jack stands.
