C2 - 63 - Kick Panels...need photo.

I am finishing the installation of the kick panels and the metal moldings and welts etc. Could somebody be so kind to either send me a good photo of the top and bottom installation of these panels, especially the moding edges. I think I am doing it right, the JM is not really to clear, and I want to make sure they are installed correct. What has got me is the molding under the sill plate??? Again Many thanks.

Yes, the bottom of the painted metal retainer molding goes underneath the front of the sill plate.

Is that true for 66 as well? Could you send me the pictures also?

I don't have a photo handy, but if you'll look at the "tail" on the molding, you'll note that the "bead" along the edge flattens out completely about 1/2" from the end so it will fit neatly under the flange on the inboard side of the sill plate.
