1969 BB Timing Tab Description 8"

Can someone describe the timing tab markings on a 1969 427 L71. Do the words before and after appear - numbers range from 16 to 6.

Here's a photo of mine just taken after trudging out in the doom and gloom of TS Ernesto and having to clean about 35,000 miles of gook the original (first) owner left on it. Hope it helps.
