    1969 project

I,M TRYING TO GET AN IDEA OF WHAT THIS CAR IS WORTH. TUXEDO BLACK W/BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR.PS,PB 4-SPEED M21, 427-390HP. ALL NUMBERS MATCH. IT,S CURRENTLY OFF THE FRAME. THE FRAME HAS BEEN ACID DIPPED, AND RESTORED TO FACTORY SPECS. INCLUDING ALL THE CHASIS COMPONENTS. THE BODY IS NOT ORIGINAL COLOR, AND NEEDS TO BE PAINTED. THE INTERIOR IS ALL ORIGINAL, AND IS IN PERFECT SHAPE. THE MOTOR IS CURRENTLY IN PIECES, BUT IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND ALL THE ORIGINAL PARTS ARE THERE. THE GUY WANTS $7800. IS THIS FAIR?

Sounds like a resonable deal to me. But then I am capable of painting my own car and assembling this one. Someone will buy it for sure.

A little advice for you. Expect to spend Between $ 25000 to $50000 to put the car back together properly. Good Luck

          Hi Scott:

The only word thrown around by sellers more than "original" is RARE. If you are a good judge of originality and "everything is there", and know these statements to be accurate, then it is probably a fair price. Remember those little things that may not look like they are missing can cost a bundle when you discover they are.

          Good luck

          P.S. YOU'RE TYPING IN "SHOUTS"

            25-50K? Maybe...maybe not....

If you can turn your own wrench and squeeze the paint gun's trigger, no way. If ya can't, then maybe you're right

George,I hope you are right,on the cost.It has been a long time since I restored my previous '62,and now that I am on the edge of this one.I heard those numbers and started looking for the For Sale sign.
