    Spring Restorers Mag

Just received my copy in Buenos Aires. Great issue with a lot of diverse articles. I noticed that there are more articles, about thirty! (30), while recent years have only ten to fifteen. Some comments I'd like to share with all you NCRS friends:

1-One interesting article is 25c Overheating Solution, as this subject has been extensively posted here. Of course it is only a solution for a bad gauge car, not for a true overheating car, as many BB seem to be.

2-Good article on 77 luggage racks, didn't realize until now that it was a real option in that model year.

3-Mike Ernst dating article is very good, and although I don't know SA fine details, found interesting his comment about factory worker in Dana Corp. installing wrong tags in differentials...

4-Horns article is very detailed, and a good counterpoint with NDB members (Jack and Fred) showing different sides of restoration. Horns are said to be dipped painted, didn't know that. Is it the same on sharks? My two 70 originals don't look dipped painted, but I worked on them last year and memory fails.

5-Bookshelf section is welcomed. I agree about Newton's good book, but he puts too much accent in RHS engines...

Well, a great issue really, good job Terry!

Thank you Roberto, but real credit should go to members like you and others who take the time and effort to share their hard learned knowledge with all of us. I can only print what I receive.

Roberto --- In addition to thanks to our editor, and and to the contributors (as TM has mentioned), kudos to the Argentinian Postal Service, as this Canuck has yet to see his copy.

Wayne, Yes it is funny that people in Argentina get the restorer before people in Garland ,Tx. do. A bunch of us Dallas area guys go through this every 3 mo's.It's a kick to get the valuable mag. before everyone else. Maybe Terry could take an extra few bucks for people who would like there's 1st. class.... also the Driveline! Nothing is worse than finding that part you've been looking for for 6 mo's and find that the guy sold the part 3 weeks ago when the buyer got his Driveline.I wish the Driveline was on the web...
