Re: the old man learned a new trick
Geoffrey------
Gee whiz-----do we ever look "seedy" and "dissipated" in this photo! If a cop had seen us we would have probably been arrested for vagrancy. I feel like I need to go see Gary Cox.
Yes, driving that 69 of yours definitely brought back "old memories" (after all, it's been almost 10 years since I drove my own 69)and it gave me a "taste" of what it will be like with it's new "ZL-1". The side pipes? Well, let's just say that I'm no more enchanted of them now than I was before that day.
We did have a great time, though; no doubt about it. Plus, I had 4 lobster rolls driving down (about 1+ lobster per roll with these giant "morsels" and DEFINITELY the best to be found in the northeast!). In fact, the "final tally" for this trip is 26 lobsters and 14 orders of steamed clams. Upon arriving home, I found that I had LOST 2 pounds. What more can a person ask for? If it hadn't been for all those Italian sausage sandwiches at Carlilse, I might have lost 4 pounds. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
