    C3 Headlight doors

My headlights will not pop up on a 78 C3. I did a visual inspection of the hoses and did not find a leak. Can someone give me a good starting point to trace down the problem.

Assuming the other does open, you can eliminate everything before where the vac hose tees to each HL. I would suspect the relay for the HL that doesn't open.

However, make sure the HL opens manually.Could be a machanical issue.(pull the actuator hose and push the HL up). Stop it just before it locks in the up position, or you'll need to manually pull the center link,(the adjusting screw attaches to it), to get it to go down.

Doug there are two ways to raise the headlights, one is with the headlight switch and the other is the pull down vacuum switch. Do the headlights come up with the pull down vacuum switch?

No they do not come up either way. I assumed there was a leak, but have not found one so far.
