I have a cast iron bellhousing I googled the part #3742257 and came up blank its dated L-2-59 any help, Im very sorry to here about Jerrys passing......Thanks in advance John

GM CASTING #3742257 was used for the GM PART #3755553 bellhousing. This bellhousing was used in PRODUCTION for 1959-60 passenger cars with V-8 engine except high performance or special high performance 348. It will also SERVICE all 1958 passenger cars with V-8 engines.
