    '70 coil bracket screws

I'm looking for a source for these self-tapping screws, one for the coil and the other for the coil resistor.

These are not garden variety standard pitch machine screws. They seem to be a coarse pitch, but finer than sheet metal screw pitch.

Any assistance greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris

I believe that they are 10-32 thread forming, pan head phillips, machine screws. You can check with McMaster Carr and they should have them. I would also suggest that you go to your local salvage yard that has a few old GM cars in it. I believe that the fasteners were common to most, if not all, GM lines

Hi Dick, yes they are indeed 10/32 machine screws. I just needed to use a screw driver versus my fingers. Thanks again. Chris
