What is the acceptable seatbelt for the C1? Where can they be found?

You can use anything you like, as they weren't factory-installed until 1958.

Or, call Charlie at Seatbelt Sity (908-719-2354) and he can make you a pair that looks "correct" for your car. He did a set for me for a 56 with a shoreline beige interior-they look "factory" and are beautiful.

I have a 57 with red intereior and bought a pair from (wesco performance)
they only cost me $43.90 for the pair + shipping including the hardware they were red and look nice PHONE 805-738-0223 I forget the web site but you can it when you call, they are in CA

I belieave 56-57 was an accessory , that is why you find the center area belt plates on some ?.
